Anything you eat that comes as fresh from Nature as can be ~ prepared lovingly by chefs who know how great food should taste ~ has no equal, period. There is simply nothing better.

Who ever thought that one day we would need something as complicated as a search engine to help us find fresh, great tasting, healthy meals ~~ great, organic, gourmet foods that are both nourishing and delightful to the palate?

After all, in the "old days" we could go out to the vegetable garden and gather fresh ingredients for all our meals. I will never forget the sweet memories I have of visiting my grandparents' farm; on a hot summer day we would go out to pick fresh sun-ripened tomatoes, blackberries plump and shining, cucumbers long and fat, pulling long carrots up by their deep roots, with the sweet smell of rich black soil still clinging to the tiny hairs of their shaft.

Nothing "chemical" ever touched the earth in that garden ~ only organic, natural things that made healthy, rich soil and helped the plants to thrive. It made for sweet eating, and delicious flavors that are hard to find today.

Today, few people have their own gardens; our food comes prepackaged and other people (that we don't even know) grow, pick, package and ship them to stores where we purchase them. How sad it is not to know the smells and tastes that make food healthy, nourishing, and taste great ~ let alone be able to find and eat it!

I have always loved good food. The memories of those summer gardens and the delicious flavors of meals prepared with a loving hand on the farm have never left. Every meal I eat compares favorably or not with what I knew as I was growing up ~ how great food can (and should) taste.

When I left home, I ventured further from the "ordinary" tastes of the American farmlands, into other types of cuisine and methods of preparing food. And, as the way that food is grown and offered to people has changed, it has become more and more challenging to find fresh healthy food that is exquisite to both the eye and tongue.

But there is one way to satisfy all my culinary desires (maybe yours too?) ~ and then some: organic gourmet foods.

No more hot-house tomatoes that taste like sawdust. No more flavorless lettuce or spinach that smells vaguely of pesticides. No worries about whether or not to peel the skins, for fear that there are harmful substances and absolutely zero vitamins left in it; no fears that we are going to be eating some kind of "Frankenfood" that has been genetically modified with weedkiller (or fish genes) inside just because someone thought it might be a fun idea.

Nope. Organic gourmet food is what you want if you care about what you eat ~ and if, like me, you really crave food that tastes wonderful and keeps you healthy and fit.

That's what this site is all about, my friend: how to find great, organic gourmet foods that satisfy your palate and bring a contented smile to your face when you lay down your fork for the last bite of the meal.
