Great cutlery is something every cook needs -- the sharper the better. This is one place one should never skimp; buy the BEST quality knives you can and they will last literally a lifetime.

You can buy cheap knives and cutlery almost anywhere. But don't. It will cost you in the time it takes to chop, dice, slice, and cut -- and you will wish you had listened to your wiser self and gone ahead for a few bucks more and bought the "good stuff" the first time!
